(last January), Liverpool commercial director, Ian Ayre, visited India to meet with the vice president of Western India Football Association (Wafa). The meeting was co-produced to open the Football Development Center (FDC) in Pune, India.
"The launch [center coaching] in Pune will be huge. I am very impressed with Ayre comment. Klub strongly emphasize research and Pune functions into the appropriate place for that project."
As the Belfast Telegraph launched during an inspection of the location of training centers, Ayre welcomed the potential development of soccer in the country with a population of 1.1 billion people that.
"After a long time in India, you can see how English clubs come and rob money from the local football," he said.
"That's right. It's disappointing to see the club come and take the money and go. We in Liverpool approached India to avoid the same mistakes."
