Haries: PSSI mengambil sikap tegas kepada Liga Premier Indonesia yang dianggap merupakan kompetisi ilegal di Indonesia.

Ironisnya, Irfan Bachdim saat ini terdaftar sebagai pemain Persema Football Club sebagai klub peserta LPI.

Nasib Irfan Bachdim di timnas Indonesia jadi tanda tanya menyusul keputusan Persema Malang untuk bergabung ke Liga Primer Indonesia. Terkait masa depannya, Irfan sendiri menyerahkannya ke PSSI.

Husain menyebut, untuk untuk mendatangkan Safee ke PSM, Arya Abhiseka dari konsorsium LPI (Liga Premier Indonesia) sudah menyatakan akan melobi tim Selangor FC untuk mendapatkan Safee.

Haries: PSM sudah memastikan akan berlaga di kompetisi Liga Premier Indonesia. LPI menjanjikan kompetisi sepakbola yang lebih profesional dibanding ISL yang dikelola PSSI.

LPI rencananya akan mendatangkan pemain sepakbola kelas dunia disetiap klub peserta.

Namun PSM akan bersaing dengan PSPS Pekanbaru untuk mendapatkan Safee.

Persema sendiri bakal mundur dari Indonesia Super League (ISL) dan beralih ke Indonesia Premier League (IPL) yang dimulai 8 Januari nanti. Konsekuensinya, Persema bakal diberi sanksi degradasi ke Divisi Utama dan pemainnya tak bisa memperkuat timnas PSSI.

"Mana ada di dunia ini, tim menang, ketua umumnya diminta turun. Lihat para pemain. Contohnya si Yongki [Ari Wibowo] dibesarkan dan dimatangkan di Superliga. Hasilnya ya seperti ini," katanya.

"Saya mau tegaskan, Nurdin Halid tidak akan pernah mau mundur dengan tekanan. Karena saya menghargai demokrasi, menghargai sistem, dan menjaga martabat PSSI sesuai statutanya."
